時として大根の葉は、根より美味しい。特に引き抜いたばかりのものは。
時として葉は、鑑賞にも耐えうる。そのみずみずしさは、生きる力を与えてくれる。
昔の人々が身につけていた布達を、今度は私が生かしてみよう。
ビタミンＡ たっぷりの大根葉の力を借りて。
The leaves of a white radish, especially the fresh ones,
are sometimes
more delicious than the root. The leaves are beautifl in appearance.
They
give us the power for living. I made the best use of my old cotton,
once
worn by our ancestors, in illustrating the white radish leaf,
holding
the energy from vitamin A.
